$2 Can. Clear pale with a head that fades immediately to nothing. Nose is mildly sweet friendly orange. Taste is also very friendly. No hint of any rude ale character you find with most domestic blonde ales. I'll say its probably because of the lower alky level in this one. You really can't tell this is blood orange, its simply orange in nature and its not really artificial in the flavor. Clean and refreshing. Good level of carbonation. Should have saved this till the wife was home, I'm sure she would have liked a sample of this stuff. You can tell its beer, but the fruit is so well balanced, I'm getting nothing negative about the beer aspect at all. I'd like to try this on tap, I bet its pretty darn good. Good job there weiddy! The only thing low score about this is its color and appearance - the look of a macro pale lager. Shoudah couldah wouldah got a six pack! Except for Anderson Valley Blood Orange Gose, this is the best blood orange brew I've had!

Bottle. Picked this up at a gas station in southern Ohio. Couldn’t believe it. Didn’t know they still made this stuff! I remember that it taste like Miller when I was in colloge. Yea, it still kind of does. Anyway. I think everyone should try this one at least once.

Can. Virtually clear pale with a slight haze. Thin bubbly head. Mild dill pickle spice nose with what seems to be a tad of citrus aroma. First taste is pretty mild, was expecting a blast of dill pickle tartness but all I'm getting is some plain old mild american style macro pilsner with a tiny amount of pickle juice in there. Very easy and friendly, quaffable. Other pickle beers I've had really made me pucker but this very smooth and civilized. Surprizingly plain straightforward and easy. Effortless trouble-free well ordered and simple. No hop bitterness to speak of. Decent level of co2 but could use more. Finish is a little watered down but acceptable.

Caramel malt and hay aroma. Hazy dark amber with moderate head. Moderately sweet caramel malt, and mildly bitter fresh hay/grass flavor. Okay body. Easy drinking beer.

Cheap can, looks clear pale with a tad of pink in there. Not much of any watermelon on the nose, but it does feel somewhat sweet on the olfactory. Taste is weirdly sweet, no real definition of watermelon, but it does come across something like a lighter pastry brew! I know, that is odd, but I really cant feel the watermelon in this. Its made with puree, perhaps the watermelon is all fermented out and this is what's left? Who knows. Quite acceptable as I near the middle, not in yer face like so many other watermelon brews. Feels like there has been some tasting going on before they refined the recipe. Doesn't seem artificial in the flavor. Decent laid back finish and overall well behaved for a special fruit brew. Better than expected, possibly one of the better watermelon brews I've tasted.

Pour is a bright lemon juice gold with a large white head. Aroma is neutral grain and does have some tart lemon. I don't know if that's my mind playing tricks on me. Flavor is again more pale grain with a minute citrus hop tartness. This was quite drinkable on a hot day.

Funny, weedy has a stout with the same name, quite confusing there weedy. Beer naming people have no history? Just asking. Pop the lid on this red & black can and its foaming, not a gusher, just over the top before I catch it. First taste is really carbonated and really friendly, I’m liking this stuff for the start. It has a cutting tart attitude that I cannot resist, its so refreshing and yummy. You are not going to believe this, it actually has some of the fine attitudes or Orval! No lie. Serious, it even looks like orval in the glass; that slight cloudy light pale hue. It even has a rocky head like old Orv.. Well, the nose is somewhat neutral and there is no sediment on the bottom of the can, but I’m telling you; I am quite surprised! Yummy, I should have got a sixer, now I’m left wondering where I bot dis stuff. S6 L3 F5 T89 O18

Can from vintage estates. Not expecting much since I have a distaste for so called holiday brews, and this one is disguised as a winter brew. I'm thinking, at least at 7+%, it will be a decent tick brew that will make it acceptable in the end, you know, dulling my senses. OK, at first it seems to have a friendly, almost tart effect on my palate. The nose is nonchalant, it smells just like any other plain old pale lager brew. In flavor, its lacking all those stupid spices so common in end of year brews; I'm thankful for that. Very good level of co2 on the tongue, I like that. The eye of this is a clear brownish pale lager with lots of co2 against the side of the glass. No head to speak of. Another big swig allows me to detect the spices but it's not overly spiced, like so many domestic rude-ass winter holiday brews. It has a well-balanced attitude about it and I'm actually enjoying it! Yes, tartness in the middle and it's carrying over to the finish. This certainly has turned out to be a much better beer tasting experience than what was expected! Go figger! Finish is slightly tart malty brew. Thanks, Wiedy! Unlike my initial impressions, I'm glad I picked this one up!
