On tap on Ølhus Oslo, Helsinki. Close to black with a beige head. Roasty and hoppy aroma with nice balance between the roasty and malty and the hoppy notes, some pine and moderate fruity. Medium sweet with a balanced bitterness and medium lenght aftertaste. (Keg at Ølhus København, 20151031) The beer poured nearly black and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had fruitiness, citiricness, burnt malts and liquorice. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, burnt malts, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, fruity and bitter. A well done hoppy and burnt pale ale.

(Keg at Gallows Bird 2015) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grain, pine and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A nice hoppy pale ale.

(Keg at OlutExpo 2015) The beer poured reddish brown and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had ripe banana, malts and sweetness. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, ripe banana, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. Nicely balanced but still rather sweet barley wine. I liked.

Draught @ Olutexpo 2015 (23.10). Poured near black with a thin off white head. Aroma had roasted malt, coffee and salty notes. Similar things in flavor, roastedness, citrus fruits, ashy notes and hops. Decent Black IPA.

Pours dark reddish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of vinous berries, sweet caramely malts, toffee, syrup and yeast. Taste is sweet, vinous and syrupy with loads of caramel, toffee and hints of berries. Finish is sweet, sticky and stuffy with loads of vinous notes. Too sweet for my taste.
