Tap at Oluthuone Kaisla, Helsinki. Pours nice copper-brown, not really clear but beautifully bright colour. Aroma is distinctively Belgian. It has some sweet caramel and candy sugar, spices. No strong hops. Taste is quite Belgian also, sweet candy, spices - cloves, cinnamon. Some hop bitterness at the end. Cannot really put my finger on this licorice character, maybe there is something mixed with bitter finish. Nice beer, was actually a bit afraid that licorice would be too overpowering but nope, it is nicely balanced beer of Belgian character. Me like it.

Draught@Pub Winston Festival. Hazy yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, mild farmyard, some toffee as well as some herbs. Flavour is fruity, mild toffeeish notes along with citrus and some earthy and yeasty notes.

Aroma has strawberries and peaches. Feels fruity, sweet and somewhat heavy. Flavour has caramel, toffee alcohol and hints of licorice. Not very Belgian or licorice, but perhaps a bit IPA though. Also licorice comes through once it warms up, as well does the grassy hops. Too messy and boozy.

(Keg at Gastropub Nordic, 20140808) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had sourness, berries, fruitiness and sour milk. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, sourness, molasses, sour milk, tartness and bitterness. Afteraste didn’t last long and had mildly sourness and sweetness. A sweet and thin brew.

Tap at SOPP14. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Light citrus fruity tartness in the nose. Light-bodied. Refreshing. Sweet apricot, even honeyish. Slick palate. Not much tartness, but good siping beer.

Draught @ SOPP 2014 Pours murky orange with a tiny head. Aroma of sour berries, tart fruits, toffee and caramel. Taste is quite weird and messy with notes of tart fruits, berries, banana, wheaty yeastiness and Sahti like notes. Finish is sweet and boozy with notes of berries and yeast. Tap@ sopp14. Hazy orange, thin white head. Citrusy aroma, floral and fruity, oranges. Flavor has orange marmelade, sweetness, citrus, wheaty, doughy flavor. Lovely aroma, not so good flavor.
