Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting XVI (Last Call) on 10/09/2025. Brown-black pour with a medium thin light beige head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Bourbon, malt and peanut aroma. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, chocolate malt and roasted peanuts. The finish is oaky and nutty with a malt and peanut aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Oak, malt, dark fruit and vanilla in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of vinous oak, caramel malt, dates, maple and vanilla. The finish is oaky and with a dark fruit and maple aftertaste. Well-executed Barley Wine all around.
