Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. A clear, golden beer with a decent white to off-white finger-thick head. A bit weak on the nose, with grains and hops blending quite nicely. Piney, peppery hops. The flavor is mostly on the oppy side, with a fine maltyness in the back. Some sweetness, and resiny hops giving a fine bitterness. A bit sweet maybe. Bitter finish. A quite nice one, but far from extraordinary. Gets a bit sweet in the mouth. (090228)

Bottle, 2.5%. 1 month past BB date. Citric lemonade aroma. Clear yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour is sweet with an OK citric note from the lemonade. Lemony aftertaste, but also aspartamish dry.

Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. It pours a clear, reddish dark brown body under a creamy, moderate-sized, beige head. Some burnt malts enter the nose, along with dried fruits, prunes mostly, and dark sugars. A bit weak. The same goes for the flavor, it’s a bit weak, with sweetness, roasted malts, prunes, sugars and some coffee. Sweet finish with roasted malts in the background. Effervescent, almost sticky, medium mouthfeel. It’s way too sweet, at least for my likings. Like a blend of pilsner and Danish hvidtøl. Quite flavorful, but not very schwarzbiery. (090221)

Bottle 50cl. @ home.[ Trade by Maria ]. Unclear hazy medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, exotic fruit, moderate yeasty, banana, rubber. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy fruit sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090109]

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Mild citrusy to lemonish aroma. Distinct citric and mild sweet flavoured with a vague beer note. Ends citric and fruity.

The bottle looks incredibly good, the beer in the glass also. Starts very dry and intense, malty, also spicy. Warming and well balanced finish. A really good winterbeer!

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Tastes spicy, modest dry in the background. The finish is still spicy, not too bitter. Only the aftertaste shows an intense bitterness. Not bad, but strange.

Bottle, 5.2%. Weak citric and wheaty aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is mildly citric with some OK sweetness. Low bitterness with some wheat in the finish. Not so spicy or bananay as many German wheat beers, but well-balanced.
