Pours clear golden with a frothy head. Aroma is citrus-y hops, butter and dandelions. Flavour is all about grassy, citrus-y hops. Really long bitterness. Somewhat unbalanced.

Draught at Haket, Göteborg, on May 21, 2010Clear deep golden color, with red copper streaks to it. White lasting head. Dominating butterscotch taste, almost overpowering. I have a hard time believing that it is intentional in a "Majbock". I like it though, but after half a glass becomes a bit too much. Taste is also hoppy, sweet and smooth. Red berries sweet aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium a bit dry mineral like bitterness. Butterscotch and red berry scent.I like it at first, but after half a glass or so not so much.Initial rating on first imprssions: 7/4/7/4/15=15On a more drinkability and would I get it again note rating: 6/4/5/4/11=3.0

Pours clear golden with a frothy head. Floral citrus aroma. Floral zesty citrus flavour. Long juicy bitterness.

Bottle. Very clear yellow with a large white head. Aroma of fruit, yeast, perfume, malt and some earth. Taste of bread, citrus, grass and hops. Dry finish. Fresh and an ok lager, but not a flavor bomb. Light body, and little carbonation.

Bottle, 2010-05-08, Göteborg AR: dried apricots, citrus peels, north american hops - even more hops when pored! AP: golden - grenish shemering body, high thight creamy chemical white head (3 cm) F: hollow/metallic feeling, loads of biterness/grapfruite juice, north american hoppiness, and loads of biterness in the finish - to much for me!

Took 10 minutes to pour. Big offwhite head rises out of the glass. Pale amber body. Intense strawy wort aroma with caramelly wooden pine needle notes. Dryish grainy wooden acidic taste with dusty strawy notes. Light body. Mild mouthfeel. Dry resiny wooden aftertaste with strawy notes. Quite nice, but a bit low in aroma and thin in body. Could be more assertive. (0.4l draft, Bear and Bull Inn, Stockholm.)

Bottle 330ml. @ home.[ Trade by fiulijn ]. Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted - caramel, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, dry grass, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fresh and lovely hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100412]

Draught at Wirströms Pub, Stockholm. Almost clear copper colour, firm head. Mild citric coriander aroma. Sweetish and fruity with well rounded fairly light body. Spicy and a bit soapy with some caramel, coriander gets more evident in a finish with rather low bitterness. Sort of vaguely pleasant, the type of beer that works better to food or while socializing rather than fore rating.

Tasting at Papsø
Light blond color. Very fresh hop aroma, it’s actually very fruity, grapefruit mainly; there is also some malt crispness. Light body, good crispy malt flavor, strong bitterness, with plenty of essential oils. Long final. Summer-perfect.
