500ml bottle. Pours hazy deep orange. Grapefruit, toffee, orange peel, pine, floral, fair bitterness. Soft body. Pretty tasty, not quite a typical NEIPA.

GABS Auckland 2018. Pours black. Chocolate, almond, amaretto, plenty more chocolate, no hint of booze which is a bit mad. Good body. Nice.

On tap at Brew Rotorua. Pours gold. Lime, orange, lemon, a little bread. A nice citrusy ale. Not sure the wheat is super prominent, but I’m not too bothered given how tasty it is.

330ml bottle. Pours reasonably opaque black. Aroma is coffee, something herbal, milk chocolate and salty liquorice. Flavour is coffee up front, little herbal liquorice stuff and then a nice bitter chocolate finish. Little thin, but pretty tasty.

330ml bottle. Pours translucent black. Aroma is pine, grass and coffee. Taste is similar coffee notes over a huge spicy hop profile. Little buttery, which isn’t ideal. Mostly fine.

330ml bottle. Aroma is caramel and peach and a touch of pine. Taste is more full on, with spiced peach, caramel and biscuit up front leading into a bitter pine finish. It’s an odd combination, but really nice.
