Bottle @ B.R.A.D. Fest. Pours a somewhat cloudy whitish yellow appearance with a white head. Funky, white wine, somewhat spicy yeasty, lemon aroma. Tangy, just a tart, white wine, white grape, lemon, pear, tannin, oaky flavor. Fairly dry finish. Ok, so definitely not worth the high price tag.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of adnielsen. Pours an almost clear orangey brown with a small off-white head. Nutty aroma, brown sugar and molasses. Rich body, sweet licorice and again lots of brown sugar. Chocolatey, quite some minerals. Alcohol doesn’t really show. Not that Quadruply, but pleasant. 140712

Moderately hazy dark amber - nose is quit earthy, with the honey fairly pleasant, but well-integrated into other notes of dark fruit (plum, black cherry), toffee, leather, smoke - flavor is medium sweet - earthy honey, moderate toffee, a fair amount of smokey phenols, moderate plum and red grapes - light acidity - quite a nice attempt at the style - this is a new brewery to watch.

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of notalush. Thanks Brandon! Reddish brown, fairly clear appearance with a tan head. Rich candy sugar, sugary caramel, a bit spicy honey, dark fruity, plum, sweet aroma. Well carbonated. Rich brown sugar, dark candy sugar, plum, dark fruity, honey, rich malty flavor. Rich flavor, not much hint of alcohol and overall pretty tasty. This is a pretty good beer and worth the $10-11 to me.
