On tap at the brewpub. Shared with lovely Anja and her father! Thanks! Hazy dark golden to orange. Small off-white head. Mostly malty, bready. This is hardly an IPA. No hops. Light to medium body, malty finish. To bad.

On tap at the brewpub. Shared with lovely Anja and her father! Thanks! Hazy dark golden to amber, small off-white head. Mostly fruity with some caramel. Some yeast. Light tart from yeast, some sweetness in the background. Medium carbonation, medium body, some alcohol there. Rather abrupt finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Shared with lovely Anja and her father! Thanks! Hazy dark reddish brown, small off-white head. Light caramel and red fruits aroma. Very fruity, yeasty, sweet with a light roasty sour note. A bit harsh finish, roasty. Medium carbonation, light to medium body.

On tap at the brewpub. Shared with lovely Anja and her father! Thanks! Clear dark golden. Small creamy white head. Malty nose first, light smoke develops, some dry fruits, spice like pepper. Medium smoky, medium to full taste, smooth texture, light to medium carbonation, light sourness in finish. Lasting finish. Complex and well made. Interesting.

On tap at Pivnica Star Grad - Old Town Brewery, Skopje. Deep dark brown with a moderate beige looking head. Best of the ones we tried during our visit. Malty aroma with some roasted notes, dark fruits and hints of caramel. Fairly sweet and malty, but still fairly balanced. Easy to drink and quite enjoyable. [Tasted 2016-03-05]

On tap (tasting tray) at Pivnica Star Grad - Old Town Brewery, Skopje. Hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Best of the three in the tasting tray. We never got to know what the last one was as it was just referred to as "the new one". A bit less yeasty than the Charshisko Pilsner and certainly more malty. Sweet and caramelly, but fairly balanced in the end. Far from impressive still, but drinkable enough. . [Tasted 2016-03-04]

On tap as "Charshisko Light" (tasting tray) at Pivnica Star Grad - Old Town Brewery, Skopje. Hazy (pale) golden with a fairly small, white head. Weakest one of the three we had in our tasing tray. Mostly a yeasty mess with some grainy notes and hints of herbal hops. Drinkable, but would almost prefer Skopsko or some other industrial lager instead. Wouldn’t call this a finished brew. On tap at Pivnica Star Grad - Old Town Brewery, Skopje. Dark and hazy with a modest off-white to beige head. Not too much wheaty flavours here, more the same messy mixture of malt and yeast as the other ones. Sweet, malt and drinkable enough. Goes down fairly well with the huge portions of grilled meat they are serving, but hardly anything to write home about. . Hell hefig herber Beginn, mild bananig, trocken. Zunehmend bitter, dabei verschwindet die Hefigkeit weitestgehend. Kurzer, hell hefig bitterer Abgang, holzig. 11/8/9/8//9

Röstig malziger Beginn, angenehme Herbe. Trocken, die Röstigkeit nimmt leicht ab, malzig bleibend, leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung. Gut. 10/10/9/9//9
