On tap at Pivnica Star Grad (Old Town Brewery), Skopje. Shared with lovely Anja, her father, and Our K&K Igor. Hazy golden, small white head. Light ginger aroma, candy, and lemon. Light sweet. Light body, soft to moderate carbonation, abrupt finish. This did not work out well, some ginger present, otherwise nothing.

Dark amber, small to medium lasting creamy off-white head. Herbal aroma, mostly basil. No malts present. Bitter and quite dry. Some fruity sweetness underneath. Medium body, moderate carbonation, dry finish. Beer is good, but it’s hardly an IPA, let alone triple IPA. More like a pale ale.

Hazy amber, small lasting creamy off-white head. Light to moderate hopped, fresh and fruity, malty background. Light bitter, nice flavors, some candy aroma develops. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate to lasting bitter finish. More like a bitter.

Pours dark brown, almost black. Topped with a small and non-lasting tan head. Mild malty nose, quite dusty with some sweet fruity notes. Later on more roasted notes present with a bit of chocolate. Mildly roasty start with berry sweetness in the midst. Bandaid aftertaste. Not completely unpleasant, but not very nice.

Bottled. Hazy amber color, topped with a sizeable and pretty lasting beige head. Malty nose, sweet syrupy feel with some lemony candy. Sweet start, biscuity feel to it with some final touch of bitterness. Medium bodied. Sparkly feel. Surprisingly decent.

Bottled. Pours quite hazy amber color, topped with a medium big frothy head, off-white and average lasting. Caramel maltiness upfront, gentle with some pine notes later on and just a touch of detergent. Lots of malty sweetness, caramel and biscuits. Almost no bitterness. No real aftertase, just slight metallic feel. Easily drinkable and not unpleasant, but definitely not an IPA and definitely not much going on in there.

Bottled. Pours a murky golden color, topped with a medium sized white head, ncely lasting. A gentle bready nose with some wet paper, applelike notes in the background. A hint of bready sweetness upfront with nice and fresh grassy bitterness in teh body. Light. Tastes very decent.

On tap at the brewpub. Shared with lovely Anja and her father. Thanks! Black with reddish tint, small off-white head. Light roasty, nutty, light toffee, caramel. Sweet with roasty character, quite dry. Creamy texture, medium body, light to medium carbonation, light dry finish.

Clear dark golden, tiny head. Yeasty, Belgian yeast or weizen yeast? Again, I’m not sure that they brought the beer I ordered. No hops, just some banana and fruits. Medium body, light carbonation, fruity finish. This is not a golden ale.
