Bottle. Nice, dark chestnut colour. No head. Thin flavour with a little cinnamon. Vodka aftertaste.
Bottle, 7.3%. 2.5 years past BB date. Not much change from my earlier rating. A little rough and unpolished, but drinkable.

On tap at Fynske Øldage, Odense, Denmark. Clear, coppercoloured with beige head. Cloves-like aroma, which is quite spicey. Flavor is the same, with alcohol-notes and a light bitterness in the finish. (051029)

(On tap) Dark, clear amber with a small, off-white head. Spicy, sort of pine needleish, what is that spice - nutmeg?? Rather light-bodied and very dry with a hoppy finish. 281005

Very promising new little brewery. A very good and nice beer with good taste and nice feeling. Bottle and label are a little boring, but in the average

A chestnut colored beer with a huge bubbly brown head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy with quite a lot of cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavor is also sweet malty with a lot of caramel as well as lots of spices, again cinnamon and nutmeg, leading to a smooth slightly flowery end.

Very small, yellowish head; orange-chestnut coloured beer, still carbonation. Earthy, (chest)nutty nose, whiffs of chocolate and of hops (bit as Mexican mole sauce). Alcohol too, almondy. First watery-sweet beer, getting bitterish and, at least partially, filling in. This watery consistency seems to be a characteristic to GB beers - Mike M doesn’t seem to believe in MF nor in carbonation. Again some chocolate in the finish. Consistency of a British (best)bitter at best. In the aftertaste, I have a "foxy", slightly burning caramel flavour, but it cannot save the lack of flavour sofar. Not very great D-bock. Mike, try some Belgian stuff to learn about MF. Or Eis-Bock this.

Dark burgundy red-foxy colour; virtually no head. American hops nose, rich, dry hopsacks, grapey, green sultana’s, and fleetingly, some Thai herb. Rich, faint sweetness, malts, but watered down texture, very markedly. Bit of chocolate, tobacco (retronasal), and of course again a good dose of US hops. Grapey, not vinous, also bit of cardboard; warming up some sweat. MF is the Achilles heel of this beer. The thinness (for a 7% ABV beer!) is so marked it is embarrassing. Aftertaste has slightly burning component. Nowhere bad. It is interesting as it has some characteristics of a session beer, and some of a Big’un. Thanks for the switch, Jeppe.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark, hazy amber golden with a creamy, beige head leaving some laces. Malty aroma with notes of alcohol. Very potent and solid body with notes of overripe fruit. The alcohol is very present - and perhaps a slight note of honey in there too. Very wellcrafted beer, but also this time a little low in carbonation. 141005

A hazy orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes lactic acid - not inviting. But the flavor is better: Sweet with notes of straw and caramel, on a sligtly malty background.
