Bottled@RBESG 2008 Grand tasting
Hazy orange color, small white head. Fruity, but diacetylic aroma. A bit sourish fruity (apricot) alcoholic flavor. Ok Belgium strong ale. Saison? Well .. sort of.

Pitch black, small dark tan head. Oaky aroma, a bit of vanilla in it. Oaky, licoricey flavor. Some vanilla too. Good one.

Dark nut brown color, very small tan head. Vanilla, oxidation, some alcohol in the nose. Fruity, some prunes, some alcohol, maybe a bit vanilla too. Short finish, but quite good brew from GB.

Bottle, RBESG08 grand tasting. Opaque yeasty orange body. Caramelly nose, somewhat malty. Understated taste, some orange and spice, light hop goint to the aftertaste. Had better saisons.

Bottled. Slight hazy amber color, short head. Aroma of hop, some dry pine forest, caramel malt. Bit bitter and sweet taste. Average brew.

RBESG08 grand tasting. Cloudy copper colour, thin off white head. Yeasty aroma. Yeasty, citrus. Characterful and interesting beer.

Black with dark beige head.Aroma of tobacco,soy and wet earth,well rosted with licorice flavor and note of whisky,feels warming and nice.well done beer.

RBESG08 grand tasting. Coffee, soy sauce, some hop on aromas. Bit extreme. OK. It’s a little whisky like. Fine.

RBESG08 grand tasting. Hazy brown/amber with thin tan head. A bit sweet, not a great barley wine. Some hop. It’s ok. Good hop/honey beer eventually after having a few samples.

Bottled(750ml). -RBESG2008, Grand Tasting. 2006 vintage.
Black coloured, small cappuccino head, alcoholic licorice nose. Roasted malt, chocolate and licorice taste with surprisingly mild alcoholic finish. Very nice one.
