Blind tasting at sk8vikings porter / stout tasting, beer no 11. Pours dark brown to black with thin brown rim. Mellow liqourice and mild chocolate aroma. Flavour is softly balanced. Warming liqourice alcohol blend, nice. Quite some bitterness in the finish. Solid alcohol warming finish. No carbonation left.7-4-8-4-15=3.8

66 cL bottle, ~2 years old. Pours slight hazy brown to red with a thick light brown and dense head. Aroma is caramel and brew mash, classic Gourmet aroma, faint trace of hops. Flavour holds a solid liqorice note, oily, solid caramel malt and leads into a strong bitterness. Slight woody and mildly oxidised finish. Mild alcohol presence in the far finish.
