Draught @ the brewery. Pours a reddish amber color with a tan head. Sweet malty aroma with some roasted hints and hints of caramel. Sweet malty flavor with some roasted hints and also hints of dark fruit and caramel. Sweet malty finsih with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

(33cl bottle, traded with Papsoe) Hazy, amber colour with a small beige foamy head. Slightly sweet toast-malty aroma with liquorice and resiny and a bit flowery hops. Medium-bitter flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Moderately toasted malty, slightly yeasty taste with light notes of caramel and a subtle fruitiness; dry and slightly bitter and slim finish with liquorice in the aftertaste. Likeable.

Bottle courtesy of thewolf: Poured a hazy whitish color ale with a good size head with average retention. Aroma of coriander and orange peel is quite dominant and interesting. Taste is also dominated by a nice presence of coriander and orange peel but unfortunately there is insufficient malt to sustain the body and the ending is really watery and disappointing. The presence of spice still provide a refreshing taste but there is still too much malt lacking to turn this one around.

(Draught at Cafe Kabörk, Löpenhamn, Denmark) Clear brown color, tan head. Acidic and roasted malt sweet scent. Roasted malt and raissin sweet taste. Medium mouthfeel. Medium high bitterness.

66 cL bottle. Pours amber with shortlasting brown/yellow head. Vague malt aroma. Taste is caramel malt, followed by the classical GB yeast notes and ends with fruity/flowery hops. Starts sweet and ends dry.

Bottle. Nice big head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma is malt, hops and alcohol. Taste is malt and hops, with a hoppy and slightly alcoholic finish.

Dark red with a small, but lasting, off-white head. Malt, molasses, caramel, dried fruits and some port in the aroma. Toasted malts makes the sweet malty flavour very light and easy for a barley wine. Could have more depth in flavour and aroma, but it’s absolutely a pleasant drink. The worst thing about it is the name - what’s it supposed to mean? Your basic 3.5% mild is also a barley brew...
