660ml Bottle. Clear, dark mahogany red body with a medium beige head. Mild, malty aroma with some hops and a hint of roasting. Flavor is sweet malt, well balanced hop, warming alcohol and some caramel. A well balanced beer somewhere in-between an American barley wine and a Imperial IPA. Not too extreme in any direction, just very pleasant companion.

33 cL bottle and from tap. Pours unclear yellow with white head. Sweet aroma, hops. Taste as fruity and hoppy with a perfect blend of bitterness and sweetness at the end. Bitterness is almost not present apart from the bit at the very end. Clearly better from tap than bottle. This is by all measures one of the best beers for a warm summerday, mild and yet better than a Carlsberg pilsner.

33 cL / 66 cL bottles and tap several times. Pours golden red with shortlasting but nice off-white head. Aroma is caramel malt. Taste adds aroma hops to the caramel malt taste. Round and well balanced beer. Alcohol moves this very close the their barley wines. Has a distinct Gourmetbryggeriet flavour to it.

33 cL bottle. Pours slight unclear redish brown. Short lasting off-white head. Aroma is korn, alcohol in a wineous way, there is a blend of hops and caramel malt too. Moutfeel is round and filling. Taste has the same notes as the aroma but more roasted caramel malt to it, initial sweetness that turns into a bitter aftertaste. Good but nothing special.
