Thick black with white/browny head. Aroma and taste of roasted malts. Soft texture. Chocolate & coffee. Fine lacings on the glass. Fine dominant hop finish. Actually good quite powerfull bite. One of the better products from the brewery! Great! Rerate September - 09. Roasty, ashy, dusty, fine coffee and synthetic chocolate. Smooth. Ok roasted and sticky end. 3,6 - 3,4

Huge offwhite head over reddish bronze body. Very sweet cinnamon and lefse aroma with maybe a touch of wood to it. Taste is deep, sweet cinnamon, with fruity notes. Aftertaste is dry, slightly metallic hops, with dry wooden notes. Some bitterness, and hops of undefinable character. Definitely a good beer, and quite interesting. A bit too one-dimensional for top marks, though. (0.66l bottle.)

Bottled. Blood red colour with mediumsized beige head. Alcohol and dark fruits in aroma with some breadish hints. Pleasantly mixed aroma. Flavour is dry dark fruit, alcohol and hay. Also some cold old coffeeish hints. Flavour is a bit "sharpedged" and a bit unbalanced in that way. The flavours just don’t mix well.

A deep red beer with a bubbly orange head. The aroma is sweet with notes of berries, alcohol, and a dusty hop note. The flavor is quite sweet with strong notes of caramel, some spices, and a dusty hoppy note. All the time with an underlying note of alcohol, which is growing in strength all the time, to in the end being quite strong, and leading into a dry woody end. In the very last tail end, the dusty hops comes back.
