On draught at BrewDog Leicester as part of Collabfest 2019. Mid- to dark gold, clear with no head. Big, and I mean big smoked malts in the aroma. Smoked wood and ham dominate the heady scent. Tastes lovely and surprisingly balanced: the clean hoppy flavour of the Helles shines through beyond the smoked malt. Could do with more body in the finiah, and a bit more carbonation. All the same, this is one to seek out.

Can, a gift from a mate. Malty aroma with a dose of resin. Brown orange. Thick foamy white head. Medium bitter. A tangy marmalade citrus edge. Underlying malts. Medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable IPA without requiring juice or haze.

Can from Honest Brew. Clear golden body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of white sugar and tinned orange. Flavour of sugared orange and caramel. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Sweet and sugary. It’s just ok.

Can at BrewDog Leicester. Dark gold, clear with a ring of white head. Gummy resinous aroma with pine and papaya. Bittersweet taste with lots of piney hop. It's intense without being OTT. Some medicinal flavours nearer the finish. Heavy carbonation. Not a world beater but a very nice IPA.

Keg at BrewDog Leicester. Dark brown/black, a bit tranclucent. Tiny wisp of beige head. Milo, gritty malt, a tpuch of smoke in the smell. Sweet taste, malty and crisp with a sharp hop bitterness in the finish. Tpuches of blackberries alongside bitter chocolate in the aftertaste. Intriguing and refreshing.
