Bomber consumed at The Local in San Diego cause the tap selection was weak. Pours clear deep gold with impressive lumpy-pillowy white head. Medium nose of mild sweet malts and citrus hops. The taste has some nice malty sweetness mixed with the more dominant citrus hops like orange rind and grapefruit. The hop profile moves into more of a pineapple note approaching the finish. Nice IPA balanced between hops and malts, leaning more into hops.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a ncie off-white head. Low citrus aroma. Grapefruit citrus flavor with lots of rich caramel malt. Medium body. LIngering malt and grapefruit with a lot of pine. Nice bitterness.

Bomber. Strong caramel aroma. Accompanied by something that does indeed suggest soy sauce. Well soy sauce is fermented, so why not. Deep amber color with a decent, but departing, beige head. Seems a bit thin bodied. Mild, creamy carbonation. It’s got that red roast malt flavor. The malt is strong, and there is very little hop to balance it. There is bitter around the edges, and at the finish after the malt drains off. No question that it is an amber ale. It is flavorful. Just very sweet.

Bomber. Light aroma of sweet fruit and noble hop. Light pale gold color with a fine white head. It looks like a pale lager. Medium bodied; near creamy carbonation. It is pilsener hop bitter, and there is light fruity flavor. It seems well balanced, but it’s very different. The finish is not quite dry, and it has a very nice amount of bitter. Got a hit of heat at the end. It may not be exciting, but it is very interesting and drinkable.

Bottled. A hazy orange beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet and super hoppy combined with notes of grapefruit - the aroma a bit cloying. The flavor is sweet spicy - especially coriander, combined with strong notes of grapefruit. I find the body a bit on the thin side.

Bottled. Clear golden. Sweet and appley. Rounded and honeyish with slightly salty finish. Too sweet to be refreshing.
