Shiokaze Beer Lab Ya Zamani Pale Ale 5.3% Brewed at Yggdrasil, when I cracked this beer I got a whiff of fresh pine. Poured in a glass you still get sharp pine but also malt caramel notes. Medium bodied with a silky mouthfeel and crisp finish. This amber brew has a bitter piney flavor with balancing sweet caramel and hints of perfumes citrus. Seems like a classic west coast Pale Ale.

slight amber golden color. Frothy white head. Very clean, a touch of minerally apricot and bready nose. Soft mouth feel, low carbonation interesting notes of mint and caramel. Medium full body with low medium bitterness. A mix between a Vienna and kolsch. Interesting enough but not mind blowing --- Beer merged from original tick of Kemigawa Kolsch on 24 Feb 2020 at 10:11 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Tap at Craft House Kyoto. Cloudy orange-amber, tall airy head. Hoppy nose, resin and citrus, caramel. Thin and minerally, lightly malty, light and spirtzy. Not really doing it for me.

Tap at the brew pub. Clear, deep gold. rich malt nose, bready, lemony. Lemony, bready flavor, crisp and clean with a prickly, slightly bitter finish. Lovely toasty malts. Lemon from the hops.
