Bottle, BBE August 2007 Clear, amber body. Off-white head. Uninteresting aroma: hops, soap, (hints of) alcohol. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet initial flavour. Moderately bitter finish (upcoming finish). Somewhat astringent, didn’t find it pleasant. Not bad either. Very unbalanced.

Bottle, BBE September 2007 Clear, amber body. Off-white frothy head, which lasts mostly. Nose of yeast, oranges, pineapple, flowers, ... Moderately bitter, lightly sweet initial flavour. Moderately sweet, lightly acidic finish. Not superb balanced. Not very bad either. Nothing special.

(bottle from bierkoning) Clear amber coloured body with a medium-sized frothy white head. Citrus fruity, moderately sweet toast-malty aroma, also yeasty and slightly grassy. Medium sweet flavour and taste, a toasted maltiness combined with orange rind on the palate, dry and bitter finish with a touch of grassy hops and notes of coriander. Not a very exciting brew.

Bottle, BBE March 2007 Clear, blond body. Big, off-white, long lasting, rocky head. Nose of herbs, vanilla, cookie, straw, ... Lightly bitter, moderately sweet initial flavour. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet finish. Quite disappointing. Very unbalanced flavour. There are good elements in the flavour, but it’s a wrong combination. Just like you would combine chocolate with lamb meat.

(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy pilsener golden with a creamy, white head. Lots of yeast in the nose. Flavour of sweet malt with a slightly sulphurous edge. A heavy yeast sediment clouds the beer completely in the finish. 291205

(Bottle 33 cl) Amber golden and extremely unclear with big amounts of floating impurities. Small cappuchino-like head. Pronounced sweetness and a slightly perfumy nose. Things even a bit out with a distinct bitterness in the finish. 120304
