Sample at Pint Room Dublin during the Boulevard Pint Night event on 03/11/2020. Clear dark mahogany-brown color with a medium thin light beige head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Chocolatey aroma with caramel and nut notes. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, chocolate and roast nutes. The finish is roasty with a nutty and malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the taproom. The beer is a dark brown color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial sheets of lacing. Roast malt, coffee and chocolate aroma. Light-bodied with a roasty malt and coffee character, with some cocoa in the background. The finish is sweet and creamy with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
