Keg (could have been cask - notes fail) at the brewpub, 10/11/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white head. Nose is biscuit malt, straw, bitter orange and fruits. Taste comprises biscuit, toffee, perfumed notes, dried fruit, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok ESB.

Keg at the brewpub, 10/11/14. Very lightly hazed golden with a moderately appointed off white head. Nose is earthy hops, citric sherbets, mineral tones, bitter orange. Taste comprises light pine, chalky mineral notes, straw, orange pith, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with earthy hop bitterness. Bitter - Noooop! Golden blonde closer to the truth. Not a bad one at that.

Keg at the brewpub, 10/11/14. Black with a decent tan covering. Nose is earthy roast, toffee, light cocoa notes, liquorice stick, spice. Taste comprises chocolate, mineral vibes, toffee, liquorice, brown sugar, light roast. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, sweet tones in the close. Decent enough stout.

Taste comprises tea leaves, straw, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so - a pretty muted affair all round!

Keg at the brewpub, 10/11/14. Clear light golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is straw, citric peel, perfumed notes, caramel, light vanilla. Taste comprises citric rind, mandarin, quite a lot of floral and perfumed notes, sweet, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a floral hop rinse. Decent hopped up lager.

Cask at the brewpub, 10/11/14. Almost clear reddish amber with a decent light beige covering. Nose is biscuit, grain, caramel, candied fruit peel. Taste comprises caramel, candied fruit peel, biscuit, mellow fruit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light bitter notes. Ok for style and good cask condition.
