11/11/10/11//11

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden coloured particle-laden hue with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Bready and mildly grainy malty aroma with mildly fruity accents of tangerine and citrus. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Grainy malt character with notes of white bread, yeasty spice, which is not particularly Belgian imo, some floral and delicately spicy accents in the background; mildly sweet and grainy malty finish with delicately fruity notes and a deceptively muted alcoholic strength. Part-time Belgian Triple. 16.II.15

330ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, some mandarine, some orange, mandarine zest. Taste is mildly bitter hoppy, chalky, a touch of white pepper; slightly watery, light body. Typical, streamlined, unambitious arrière-garde macro rip-off. Hm... C(K)raftwerk, Tangerine Dream... not a single scintilla progressive.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mixed hoppy aroma, fruity, grassy and herbal, notes of passion fruit, peach, gooseberry, a touch of woodruff, biscuity malty background. Taste is lemonade-like, slightly sweet fruity, a touch of citric acid, a sherbet touch. More resemblance to craft Lagers like ’Mashsee Trainingslager’ and ’Kehrwieder Prototyp’ than typical APAs. OK, a macro offshoot, but not that bad.
