Bottle shared with JMD at HNB 19.04.15. Pale copper. Quickly diminishing beige head. Soft aroma, with some sweet malt and dark syrup. Taste is reminiscent of Czech tmave, with sweet malt, dark syrup amd dried berries, balanced with a moderate use of hops. High drinkability.

On tap at Bøker & Børst. A lightly unclear, orange-golden beer with a dense, finger-thick, off-white head. Some curtains. The aroma has a light acidity, it’s fruity, with some peaches. Wort hints too. The flavor has a hint of caramel, some yeast notes, as well as the same generic fruityness and peaches found in the aroma. Nice carbonation, rather dry on the palate, and medium bodied. An interesting beer for sure, but too yeasty I think. 141031

Draught @ Bøker og Børst, Stavanger
Pours hazy deep golden/copper with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, floral, herbal and hint of funk and grain. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a funky yeasty, herbal and slightly peachy and piney finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Café Sara, Oslo. Slightly hazy deep golden to amber with an off-white head. Slightly herbal aroma with some fruity notes, juniper and hints of grass. Moderate sweet with lightly sour notes and a fairly dry finish. Strange, but nice.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden, with a rocky head. Aroma is very nice citrusy hops with pine, juniper and herbal heather, as well as roasted malts with toffee and grain. Light body with very soft carbonation. Flavour is earthy yeast, citrusy orange peel hops, fruity notes with peaches and apricots, and roasted malts with biscuits, honey, herbs and wooden barrels. Lingering hoppy finish. Very nice, but crazily expensive.

Big creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry grassy, hops, leafs, wet grass, sap, juniper, yeast, bark, pine needles, hints of dried fruits. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish grassy, leafs, wet grass, hops, minerals, yeast, grain, pine needles, bark, juniper berries, hints of dried fruits. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Very nice and easy drinking thirstquencher, with a surprisingly nice aroma and flavour for the low ABV.
