Bottle. A gusher, leaving a foggy dark orange-golden colored body with a lively carbonation and a creamy finger-thick light beige head. Burnt plastic, apple, apple cores, doughy malts, dusty cellar and some grassy hints in the aroma. It's medium bodied, semi-dry and a tad heavy on the carbonation. Doughy, fruity flavor with a sickening feeling. Grass, cellar, burnt plastic and apple. Fortunately with a quite short finish. Rather awful this one. 220607

330 ml bottle, from SPAR Kinsarvik, shared with my son. ABV is 4.7%. Brown-ish golden colour, grey-ish and cloudy when the yeast is poured in. Moderate white head. Aroma of yeast, some floral and fruity hops. Yeasty and grainy flavour, dry without much fruitiness. Medicinal bittering hops and dead yeast cells in the aftertaste.

Backlog January 2017. Clear, pale golden body under a dense white head. Not much aroma, some mild fruitiness with hint of juniper berries. Taste is light and smooth pale malt, juniper, fruity yeast and moderate bitterness. Medium body and slightly harsh aftertaste.

Bottle. It's an unclear chestnut colored beer with a finger-thick light beige head. The aroma has bready malts, toffee, some roasted malts, a hint of licorice and something spiced, with some dried fruits. It's medium bodied and a bit hard on the carbonation, quite dry, almost with a fruity sourness, and quite low on bitterness. Bread crust, dark dried fruits, toffee, some notes of grass and spices, a hint of something earthy and foresty, as well as a bit odd dustyness. Long bready, roasted finish with dried fruits, caramel and an earthy hint. Pity about the carbonation, it don't do the drinkability any good, else it's sure a decent one at this strenth. 211019

Smakt nov-17

330 ml bottle, from Bunnpris, Odda. ABV is 4.7%. Moderately hazy reddish brown colour, large to moderate off-white head. Nice malty aroma, notes of caramel, brown bread, ripe plums and berries. The flavour has the same elements, but is not as sweet as I expected. The hops are very moderate. Decent enough to drink.
