200ml draught at Habitat. Hazy golden body, filmy layer, dotted spots on the glass. Aromas of lemony hops with a floral scent, inviting. Juicy fruity taste with citrus, lemon and orange, wheat fruity backbone. Hop fruity finish with welcome bitter note. Well bodied. Like it. (Trondheim, 16.04.2026).

0.44 l can thanks to Marko, shared with Ogi and him. Dark brown, small beige head. Aroma is malty, toasty, slightly roasty, earthy, hint of spice such as anise seed. Smooth, toasty and caramely flavour, soft burnt note, soft astringency. Slightly unbalanced, too bitter and astringent, earthy but otherwise well done, rich, flavourful. An old school porter, hard to find.

Can, enormous thanks djoeye! Shared with Hrabren and Ogi. Pitch balck body, off-white head. Enormous chocolatey, bit roasty aroma, almost lovely, traces of caramel. Lean, dry taste, chocolate, orange liqueur, low roastiness, some toast, not much bitterness, herbal touches, but it's there and growing. This... this is an excellent old-school porter.

Bottle, 375ml waxed. Intense, concentrated, sweet and malty. Not as warming as expected. Some wood and vinous notes. Toffee, caramel sauce, hints of chocolate, treacle, some soy sauce-like notes and a light toasted hint. Good bitterness too, dealing with the sweetness. Nice indeed this one, but needs to warm up a little to shine. 848416 260409

2. påskedag, og eneste rating til nå - dette har vært den lengste påsken på det jeg kan huske! Fra fat på Cirkus: mørkebrun (nesten ibenholt) med fint skum. Fin aroma og enda bedre smak preget av mørke sjokoladekarameller, kaffe, ristet brød og hasselnøtter. Balansert og imøtekommende på alle måter.

170ml draught at Ølhallen. A patchy, beige head over a clear mahogany coloured body, dotted spots on the glass. Inviting aromas of lightly roasted brown malts and herbal hops. Fine blended taste of caramel malts, almond, and leafy hops. Lightly roasted end with a bittersweet twist. Nice. (Tromsø, 31.03.2026)
