Oct. ’14. A 0.75 l bottle, one of the several shared with the usual suspects, from Svijet Piva I guess. It poured hazy orange body with bigger head. Very nice aroma of typical citrus hops blended perfectly with fine toasted malt. Flavor was nice, bitter, but unfortunately desperately empty. Pleasant (subtle) citrus hop and fruity malt in its thin body. Finish was rather simple, although not too short and gave away even more watery impression. I couldn’t like it as much as my friends did. Seems to me also that lately, very high prices on some beers dictate the ratings here on ratebeer, too. A well known effect we see in the wine industry.

Black color, brownish head. Mild aroma of caramel. Sweet caramel flavor, a lot of lactose, and luckily nothing that tastes like popcorn.
Good strong Sweet Stout.

Bottle - Syrupy dark roast malts and some and sweet milky notes. Maybe popcorn? Deep jet brown with a light brown head. Dark roast, nice sweetness and a long finish. Nice.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige / tan head. Nose brings out buttered popcorn, with a touch of toasted malt. Flavour brings out caramel, lactose, and light toasted malt. Not really getting popcorn so much as I get lactose or some candied sugar, along with light caramel. Not sure what this is, but it's pretty decent.

Pours hazy golden with quickly disappearing head. Heavy citrus/yuzu aroma with some funky notes together with hay. Lightly tart flavor with yuzu taking over the palate. Overall light and refreshing with medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle 750ml. [ As Mad Umami ].Clear medium to dark yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, herbs, grass, seaweed. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, herbs - grass, salty, fruity. Quict rich body - maybe because of the umami. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150130]

Bottle, 75cl. A hazy one, golden in color and with a minimal sized off-white head. Just a few bubbles actually. There’s a faint touch of funk in the aroma, but it’s the yuzy that runs the show. It’s quite sour in the mouth, but not acidic. Very citrusy flavor, with lemon juice, lemon peel, clementine. There’s a faint funky touch too. A bit heavy on the carbonation, dry on the palate. Some citrusy bitterness. Lasting finish. Certainly one-dimensional this one, but it’s quenching and tasteful, that’s for sure. 150314
