Canned. Very pale yellow, airy head. Oddly I find some aromatic orangey hops mixed with grain up front. Sweet and very light bodied, rather thin. The expected trademarked Sofiero flavour of rotting vegetables and pea soup just isn’t thre, and it is actually surprisingly clean and thirst quenching. No bitterness. Sensationally non-awful for being for coming from what I have found to be the worst brewer anywhere. Perhaps not a beer that I’d like to drink every day, but also not a beer that I’d actively avoid.

50cl can from K-Citymarket, Vantaa. Gold with a yellow head, rapidly fading; caramel aroma; very smooth and sweet, almost like drinking a butterscotch milk shake; slightly dry to finish.

50cl can from K-Citymarket, Vantaa. Straw colour with an off-white head which fades quickly; weak malty aroma; unpleasant sour taste. Apparently this won a silver medal at the World Beer Cup 2004 in San Diego, USA - presumably the other contenders were even worse.

Can (BB 11/2007)
Clear, dark amber color, small creamy white head. Sweet toffeish aroma with metallic hints. Medium-bodied. Some toffee, bready malty notes. Aftertaste is metallic. Sweetness reminds me about Finnish Christmas Viennas - although this has "an ale" in its name, feels more like Vienna. Also "cream ale" is usually some kind of nitro brew, this is not really creamy.

Canned. Dark copperish amber colour with mediumsized beige foamy head. Leaves a bit lace. Aroma is cookies, toffee, malts and some slight paperyness. Flavour is flowery hops as well as some grassyness. Watery and unoffensive, so very easy to drink... If I want to enjoy beer, I would choose something that actually tastes a bit more than this.

Can. It pours a bit pale, golden and clear, with the head being small and white. Malt, grain and grass in the aroma, boring. The flavor is better, quite hoppy actually, and also has pale malt, grain and hay. Medium to thin mouthfeel. A decent, but nothing more, Swedish lager. Rating: 3-3-5-3-8-2.2. 070209
Can. A foamy white head sits on top of a clear, white head. Fruity, grainy and grassy aroma with some hay. A decent bitterness in the flavor, style considered, with grass, grains and some pine cones. Medium body, decent carbonation. Bitterness in the end. Well, not the mose exciting beer I can think of, but at least it’s drinkable. 111001

(50 cl can from Systembolaget) Clear golden color, shite head. Sweet and fruity scent, undertones of milk and alcohol. First sniffs are enjoyable, but it doesn’t last. Spicy and alcohol taste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.
