Dec. ’16. On tap at Birra+, Rome. It poured a hazy caramel colored body with a medium sized head. Pleasant hoppy aroma with a minor caramel note, nice combo with some lemon and other sweeter citrus, pepper and lightly toasted malt. Lightly bitter flavor, with herbal and plainly dry bitter hops pronounced towards its finish. Otherwise fruity, primarily citrus, then lightly toasted, as the nose suggested. Medium body impression with long, dry finish pronouncing its qualities despite realistically thin body. A decent, really pleasant session IPA.

Dec. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle at La Calamita, Rome. It poured a hazy golden body with medium sized head. It poured a hazy golden body with a tiny head. Aroma of yeast, vanilla, light chlorophenols. Flavor was lightly sweet, yeasty, vanilla sugary, simple without some essential tripel components - spices and bitterness. Medium to full body with longer sweetish cloying finish which, as a side effect, drowned all the alcohol perfectly. I know Belgian styles are hard to make properly and I never learn from my mistakes taking them all the time, but it could be much better done even in a small brewery like them. Compliments for trying anyhow.
