Can. Weak, sweet roasted aroma. Very dark brown colour with a red hue. Small head. Roasted, peppery flavour. Well-balanced. Malty, peppery aftertaste. A good Doppelbock.

Can. Amber colour, stable white head. The flavour is not far from bad pils, only a little more malty and the usual citricity not as unpleasant.

Bottled. Dark brown, almost black, with an ok beige head. Malty, a bit smoked aroma with caramel. Very sweet. The flavor is caramel, and a lot of sugar. Thin and sticky mouthfeel. I really don’t know what I mean of these Danish Hvidtøls, but they are definately not the beer to be enjoyed without food. (060422)

330 ml bottle, in Aalborg. Pale golden colour, low and very short-lived head. Boring aroma and flavour, watery and sad. One to avoid.

Bottle. Bready and metallic aroma. Golden colour, no head. Bready, watery flavour. The bitterness is not too bad, but the flavour is not too good either.

An orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of corn, but also some caramel. The flavor is also sweet with strong notes of corn, which gives it a sourness, that I don’t like, but it also has some notes of caramel. I don’t like corn in my beer, this is bad Danish macro brewing.

Canned. Nice creamy white head with good duration. Color is hazy light golden. Rich aroma of fruits and yeast. Taste is dominated by banana - maybe a bit too much. I was very positively surprised about this industrial weissbrew. Actually it might be the best weissbeer I have tasted that was made in Denmark.
