Bottled. A dark amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, caramel, and berries. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, wet hay, caramel, and berries, lesding to a bitter finish. A bit odd.

Bottle @ Borefts ’13 thx to Countbeer. Almost black colour with a small light brown head. Smells some iron, roasty, chocolate and sweet. Tastes liquorice, roasty, coffee and a bit salty (because of the liquorice). Medium to full body, low carbo. Not a fan of the liquorice taste, but it’s a nice brew.

Bottle at BBF’13, thanks Kamiel. Black colour, beige head. Aroma is creamy, milky, oak, light bourbon, chocolate, hard roasted malts. Flavour is quite sweet, sugary, metallic, coffee and cream, hard roasted malts, metallic bitter finish. Medium-bodied at best. Taste was a bit of a let-down after the nice aroma.

Thx! to Martinus for the share. Bottle sampled during Borefts 2013. Cool label. Black with a beige head. Nose is sweet, oak, coffee, chocolate, brownie, sweet, brown sugar & light pine hops. Taste is sweet caramel, toffee, coffee, hint vanilla, finish is a bit bitter, some herbs & hops. Body is a bit light for the style & ABV. Nice stuff.

33 cl bottle @ PBF VIII, BBE 30.07.2013
Aroma is quite floury with gooseberry bush and malty notes. Flavour has gooseberry bush, some fruity notes and hints of caramel. Finishes with gooseberry bush and quite strong hay notes. Not very IPA, more like APA or something else. Also too messy.

330ml bottle @ PBF 2013

Pours hazy orange with a small head. Aroma of grassy hops, hints of exotic fruits, caramely malts and musty notes. Taste is sweet, musty, a bit messy and fruity with notes of yeast, bitterness and caramel. Finish is stuffy, musty and yeasty with some fruity bitterness. Unbalanced, too yeasty and stuffy.

Bottled at PBF. Cloudy pale amber, brief head. Fruity nose witth some grapefruit. Mid sweet with clean mouthfeel nad medium body. Gooseberry and grapefruity hops dominate, but the shallow malt character fails to support the hops. Finishes resiny and unpleasantly bitter. Harsh.
