Aroma is moderate malty, bread, roasted, brown sugar, light to moderate hoppy, light licorice hops. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, brown sugar, meium dry, quit hoppy, licorice notes. 500ml bottle, many thanks for this beer gift, Skinnyviking. Two-finger sized head reduced to a tiny layer. Deep dark brown body. Minimal lacing. Dark malty smell, notes of bread and liquorice. Roasted black malty taste, mid-sweet with hints of dark chocolate and liquorice. Malt bitter ending. Clean tasting. Medium bodied. Decent enough (at home enjoying the Rolling Stones’ Hyde Park Concert on TV, 27.12.2013).

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost opaque black with a vague tint of red and a beige head. Sweet coffee in the nose, a little port wine also perhaps. Medium body, lowish carbonation. Sweet, subtle roast and again quite some sweet roast. Elegant. 091213
