Bottled (as Latgales Dunkel, from Alko Prisma, Vaasa). Deep reddish brown colour with a mediumsized foamy head. Aroma is syrupy sweetness, mild toast as well as some caramel. Flavour is a bit less sweet, but still quite syrupy with mild wooden and toasted notes.

Dizdadzis Smell- weak malt, faintly herbal, faintly peppermint somehow? Foam- thin, malt, weak bitter tones. Head is medium-sized, white orange tint. Sticks a bit. Appearance- generic bottle cap, simple Latvian-ish label. Clear orange red in color, with few carbonation bubbles. From - pint Taste - weak malt, weak herbal tones, weak hops, weak grass. I like the herlbalness mix with malt. Interesting.

Smell- weak malt, weak hops. Foam- thin, malt, weak bitter tones, weak hops. Head is quite large, white with an orange tint. Appearance- generic bottle cap simple label. Clear dark orange on color, high in carbonation. From - pint Taste - hops, bitter tones, malty tones, maybe faint sourness or faint grass. Nothing special, drinkable.

Bottle 50 cl. Golden, clear, white foam. Aroma: a little fruity and flowery, a little pear, pils malt. Taste: malty, light, a little citrus, a little bitterness, grapefruit, not bad.

Appearance: Cloudy gold, tall white frothy head of good retention. Aroma: Grain, straw, apple seeds, distant hops. Taste: Light sweet & bitter. Grain, straw, grassy hop, some alcohol. Harsh hops and alcohol in the ending. Grassy aftertaste. Mouth feel: Medium body, lively carbonation. Summary: Controversial.

Seems missed this one somehow.Also, I am thirsty. Smell-weak malt, caramel. Foam-thin, sweet, malty, caramel, faint hops. Head is medium-sized, medium-dark brown color. Sticks a bit. Appearance- bottle wrapped in money, I kind of like it... but bottle cap is generic, so averages out. From - pint Taste- malty, sweet, caramel, faint hops. Fairly drinkable, not too bad, could drink again.

Smell-weak to medium cofee, malt, weak roast. Foam- malt, faint bitter tones, cofee remains, sweetness, sugar. Head is small, dark brown color, gues away quite fast. Appearance- generic black bottle cap, simple label. Black color, no carbonation. From - snifter Taste - malt, weak roast, cofee remains, bitter tones, sugar. Generally watery, some acidic roast and coffee remains in the mix. Somewhat meh.
