Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen, Denmark. Unclear medium orange color with a average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, rowan berries, light hoppy, orange, spicy - clove. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [130908]

Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Brown colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Very spicey, cinamon and coriander notes. Moderate bitter light sweet very spicey flavor. Long nice christman finish. Oily palate. Great stuff.

50cl bottle: Pours cloudy amber with a creamy white head. Nose is spicy & fruity. Berries mainly. Very christmas "Spicy like". Lots of anis. Flat & thin bodied. One dimensional & rather forgettable!

Bottle that was picked up in Denmark, Sept 08. Pours hazy amber in colour with a white head, some yeastiness on nose and in mouth and also a little banana. Little soft in mouth, sweetness a bit pushy at times, its decent but not great.

Cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Bready malt aroma with a hint of hay and a touch of banana. Sweet banana yeasty flavour with a little spice.

at EBF copenhagen 2008 ... Amber ... sweet bock nose ... again that sweetness i assosciate with bocks ... little caramel. not really fo me.

Draugt, 100ml at EBF 08. Cloudy golden body. Missing foam. Smooth fruity aroma with light vapour of alcohol. Taste of tart berries and dried fruits. Hoppy ending with just a slight touch of yeast and alcohol. Full to medium bodied. I had four brews in a row from Klosterbryggeriet, and I found them all more or less similar in taste (14.09.2008).

Unclear, dark orange body. Tiny head. Smell of spiced fruits. Peaches and ripe oranges in flavour with yeasty bitterness arriving in the ending (EBF, 14.09.2008).

100ml from tap at EBF 08. Patchwork on the surface of an amber-copper body. Sweet fruity smell. Ditto taste, just a little more spicy. Light bitterness in the palate. Clean tasting (Copenhagen, 14.09.2008).
