Bottled. Hazy pale amber, rich firm head. Rich cardamom aroma. Sweet and soft, medium bodied with flavour of bun dough. Light minerally bitterness. Pretty good, but not really a bock.

Bottled. Hazy golden, small head. Sweet and fruity, medium-full bodied with soft, dense mouthfeel. Very sugary, where sweetness completely takes over. Hops are hardly visible. Despite all the sugar alcohol comes through. More like an oversweetned Polish mocný than a doppelbock.

50cl bottle: Hazy gold with a nice hew & creamy white head. Aroma is sweet malty & sugary. Warmth from alcohol. Alcohol is too visible & is overpowering the malt.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy golden with an off-white head. Clean and lightly sweet malt aroma. Quite full-bodied with plenty of sweet pale malts with some floral accents. Lightly bitter finish. One of the rare pale Doppelbocks. 190608

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Spicy and somewhat licorice-like aroma. Medium-bodied with some fruit and again some licorice notes. The finish is dry. Not bad but very far from a classic Heller Bock. 190608

(Botle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Some caramel and fruit in the aroma. Medium-bodied, again with caramel and fruit and a little tired and oxidized touch. Rather hoppy finish with some alcohol present. 190608
