(On tap) Ever so slightly cloudy golden with a creamy, white head. Very discreet aroma of nothing much - perhaps a little sulphur. Thin body with weak notes of malt and a very watery finish. Not bad, just terribly bland. 040208

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden, brief head. Dryish with some light fruitiness. Like in all Roosters beers the hop rate is low, but here some mangoish notes reveals the use of small amounts of classic Kiwi hops. The body is more full than in their other beers and the mouthfeel is pleasantly soft. When it warms it reveals notes of butter and toffee, as well as fair amounts of alcohol.
Rooster’s itself is nice looking roadside place, where the locals gather for an after work beer. Their range of non assaulting beers seem to work well with the crowd. Just don’t come heer to expect some fancy, out-there styles...

Draught at the brewpub. Chestnut brown, small but lasting head. Dry and chocolatey with notes of wood. Light bodied with short mouthfeel and low bitterness. Roasty malt flavour dominates. Again an easy going beer from Roosters, this time however the chocolatey roastiness sparks a bit of interest.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden, Neutral aroma. Lightly bready with clean, rounded mouthfeel. No hops detected, nor much wheat malt character, but there are also no off flavours. As with the other beers in this establishment it’s very uncomplicated and easy going - not aimed towards the beer geek scene.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear deep golden. There’s some very light mangoish hops and nearly as light caramelly malt tones. It’s light bodied and soft, but nearly watery. No bitterness.
