(On tap) Clear, dark brown - close to black - with a vague, orange hue and a dense, creamy, beige head. Aroma of burned malt and...chlorine! Could this be because I had the day’s first pull? Rather light in body with vague, burned malt accents - very vague. And unfortunately more chlorine. Very subdued bitterness. 160208

(On tap) Clear, dark brown with a tint of orange and a beige head. Roasted malt aroma. Medium-bodied with sweet, roasted malts and a coffeeish touch. The finish is dry with with a balancing light bitterness. 160208

(On tap) Clear, orangey brown with a beige head. Lightly nutty aroma. Medium body with roasted and lightly sweet malts and a whiff of nuts. The finish is dry with a subdued bitterness. 160208

(On tap) Clear, pale amber with a creamy, off-white head leaving some lacework. Again a very sweet aroma - this time with some caramel. Light-bodied with sweetish malts and caramel and again basically no bitterness. Completely classic NZ Draught. 160208

(On tap) Clear golden with a creamy, white and lacing head. Sweetish malt aroma with a wee whiff of butter. Medium body with very sweet - almost sugary - malt and close to no hops to add a little balance. A malt lover’s Lager... 160208

Draught at the brewpub. Clear dark amber. Very light hay aroma. Soft toffeeis malt character. Malt sweet up front, drying out towards a spicy/grassy finish. Medium to full bodied, gentle and soft, warming and enjoyable!

Draught at the brewpub. Very dark brown, small off white head. Dry and very roasty with creamy mouthfeel. Light bodied and soft with moderately bitter finish. A pretty good Irish style stout.

Draught at the brewpub. Mahogany colour. Funny cinnamon aroma. Roasty, sweet and richly herbal. The mouthfeel ios rounded, but the finish unfortunately shows more metal than bitterness.

Draught at the brewpub. Golden colour, small head. Fruity berry-like hop aroma. Fairly light bodied with crisp, clean mouthfeel. Lightly hopped, low bitterness. A well made beer with the non beergeek in mind. For us geeks it tends to be unexciting.

Draught at the brewpub. Deep golden, small head. Berryish hop aroma. Fruity and medium sweet with medium to light body and grassy salty finish.
