Bottle from Moonlight Inky black pour with a decent sized bubbly tan head that slowly recedes. Fudge chocolate and bourbon oak dominate the nose. Flavor adds some roast caramel and oak tannins. Nice sipper.

The aromas are old coffee, molasses, dark malt and black patent. Flavors are fairly smooth, nice balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Good body and a coffee cocoa bitter finish.

Both aromas and flavors are slightly old resin and citrus hops, with some caramel malt and rotted fruit. Slightly sweet up front going towards bitter at the end. Okay beer.

Two 16oz cans, one on 19th and one on 20th February 2022, both at my daughters in Laguna Hills. Clean and clear bright golden body, snow white foaming head. Citrussy and dank hops front, piney notes also. Nice!

Poured from 500mL bottle (lazy labelling - the label is the bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout, then they just popped on a sticker that says 2021 red wine). Black with small beige head. Subdued vinous notes, chocolate, mild dark fruit. Decent, but leaves something to be desired.

Dark brown, big chocolate, fruit, toasty molasses stuff. Nice, rich aroma. On the palate, I like the fruitiness, and the depth here. The barrels lend a nice accent, and the vinous part is pretty strong in the finish, along with a burly alcohol. Nice complexity.

Ok ok, this one's also straight boozy but without the macaroon vibes the thick chocolate bourbon brownies aren't there. It's good but doesn't blow my mind like the vanilla coconut one. I think more of the roasty base just makes it through here.

I love me any barrel forward beers and this is definitely bourbon forward and super delicious, super chocolate bourbon brownie vibes with sweet macaroon flavors from the vanilla and coconut. I love this.

Draught at Steel Craft: pours dark brown with small head. Aroma is cardamon, slight roast, light funkiness. Characteristic dark sour, with the spice added bringing out the back. Light roast. Low acid. Solid.
