Olde English is still Old Reliable! Damn tasty as ever, toffee caramel creaminess matched perfectly with deliciously hard hitting bourbon barrel boozy notes, tons of vanilla from the barrel, nutty sweetness melted together to make barleywine s'mores. Yum

Can from Blackhaddock. Would love to thank you, but this was a sort of shoddy product. Clear gold white head. Aroma is herbal... not in a good way. Taste is bitter, herbal, not really pleasant. I know the best intentions came with it, but this was bad.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of musty grape skins, some wild yeast, and a little oaky, vinous notes. Flavour is moderately acidic, with lots of musty grape skins, oak, and musty earthiness. Not the most cohesive or complex, but I do like the Riesling character; lots of musty grape skins on the finish.

16 oz can, drank at my daughters place on 8th December 2021. Misty golden amber body, thin white head that didn't hang around for long. Dank hop aroma and taste, both hops are new to me and I am not overly impressed with them to be honest, not together anyway. Sorry mansquito!

Bottle pour shared by AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's an opaque black with no sparkle, head, or lacing but nice viscosity. Aroma is strong bourbon, base roasted malt and dark fruit. Taste is strong bourbon (a bit astringent though mellows as it sits), roasted malt, late chocolate, leather. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, strong aroma and taste with nice balance of other flavors beyond base stout.

500 ml bottle. 2019 vintage . Aroma is mild roast, dark fruit and mild bourbon. The flavor is similar raisins/ dark fruit upfront with the soft roasted backbone. Bourbon is a mild nuance that provides a mild warming after the sip. Nice!

2021 bottle. Black with a tan head that settles to around a cm and lasts a while. Aroma of roast, mocha, brioche, whiskey, some soy sauce. Smooth, luscious. Lots of chocolate with roast and whiskey keeping things savoury. Soy sauce not so evident. No overt alcohol. Only a touch of oak at the end. Bourbon is present but stout runs the show, which is my preference. Good stuff.

Flaska från US, 2019, 14.1%. Klar, koppar/rubinröd med beige krona - mer murken kloakvätska i slutet på flaskan. Malaco kolasnören, russin, fikon och rejäla mängder fat. Vågor av Bourbon med bra hetta och kryddighet, utan tecken på att avta. Rejäl och maffig, och oerhört tjusigt exempel på en öl som ger snygg spelyta åt fatlagringen. Sånt oerhört bra tryck även två år in på flaskan.

500ml @ Sales Force. Appearance: almost black with a beige head. Aroma: peanuts, chocolate, and bourbon. Taste: along the same lines, somewhat on the thin side, a bit harsh for whatever reason, with a nice chocolatey-bourbony aftertaste. Overall: pretty good surprisingly.
