500mL bottle, pours a red-tinted dark brown / near-black with a small tan head. Nose brings out a little cocoa, tart dark fruits, toasted nuts, and wild yeast. Flavour is complex, with lots of leather, bitter dark cocoa, wild yeast, and some oak. Very leathery, with a nice dry, oak character. Low residual sweetness on the finish. Complex and well-balanced. Excellent.

500mL bottle, pours a deep dark purple with a medium pink head. Nose reveals loads of pithy boysenberries, light tartness, some white wine, and plenty of lavender. Flavour is loaded with jammy boysenberries upfront, accentuated by just enough lavender, and a hint of white wine barrels. The acidity is there but not too sharp. Lightly pithy, with rich, deep boysenberry character. Everything works harmoniousy, making this a pleasure to drink. Excellent.

Bottle from a friend - turbid amber pour - aroma of bourbon-saturated oak, coconut, vanilla, treacle, brown sugar, oxidation/dustiness - flavor is quite sweet and does not quite deliver on the complexity the nose promises - heavily boozy - a fair amount of oxidation - things get more balanced and interesting late, with light acidity, dark fruits, bread pudding - overall quite good, but the approach lessens the enjoyment a bit.

500mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with apricots upfront, with subdued gin barrels, and some floral notes. Flavour is surprisingly complex, with a deep apricot character, gin barrels, and some rustic saison yeast. Acidity is medium-high but totally fitting. The gin barrels are not too floral and well-situated. Excellent.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle, slightly tart peaches, lots of spicy lavender, and a bit of farmhouse yeast. Flavour is very floral, with tons of lavender -- this really with dominates -- along with spicy saison yeast, and some farmhouse notes. This is a real lavender bomb. The peaches aren't really noticeable. Fun stuff, but it's a bit too floral for my tastes.

Hazy yellow-gold color with a medium white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lace. Grassy hops, citrus and malt aromas. Medium body with flavors of herbal and grassy hops, citrus and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
