on tap-pours a thin white head and pale yellow/yellow color. Aroma is grain, honey. Taste is sweet light malt/grain, honey, then a short lived sharp bitterness which fades to floral/spicy hops (continental), some yeast. Mild carbonation.

Draught at the brewpub. Dark reddish brown, creamy head. Resiny coffee aroma. Medium dry with corase mouthfeel. Clumsy flavour of aniseed and licorice, resiny finish. Lacking finesse and character.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear pale amber, small head. A beer dominated by caramelly malt and resiny hops. Sweet and unrefined with some bitter oranges. Medium bitterness. Feels somewhat artificial. While it is pleasant enough to sit at Buller’s patio, everything feels very commercial and plastic.

Draught at the brewpub. Amber colour, brief head. Caramelly with spicy hops and clean rounded mouthfeel. Resiny finish. A bold and unrefined on oktoberfest, lacking the malt depth needed in this difficult style.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden with creamy nitro head. Papery from nose to finish. Sweetish, vaguely toffeish and light bodied. Low bitterness. Forgettable and soulless.

Draught at the brewpub. Yellow colour, small head. Orangey nose. Very sweet and marmelady. Medium bodied with rounded, sticky mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Like drinking old english marmelade with some hops.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear pale yellow, small head. Sweet with plenty of orange nectar and rounded mouthfeel. Fairly light bodied with lots of perfumy orange. Low-medium bitterness. Where does all the perfumy orange come from?

Dark clear brown stout with a thick creamy lacing off white head. Nutty chocolate malt in aroma, pleasant. In mouth, light powdered chocolate with light floral hops, and lighter bodied. Very good. Tap in May 2006

Golden orangey ale, with dark hues and a thin creamy off white head. Nice chops in aroma, subdued and pleasant. In mouth, a light bodied IPA with enough hops to keep you interested. Nice and quaffable. I have to compare this to North American IPA though, and I agree this is closer to a pale ale. Tap in May 2006
