Rating only for cask version though.Clear deep golden color, white head. Sweet, fruity, hoppy, berry, fresh, amazing scent! Smooth, sweet, hoppy, bitter, herbal, floral taste; my dear this is good stuff right here! Smooth mouthfeel. An amazing fresh herbal hop bitterness that lingers and makes love in the back of my throat. Bitterness is medium high to the dry side, almost a bit chalky.I really wish we coud see more super fresh cask ales in Sweden, this is simply fantastic!Taste is also black currant leaves, somered currant berries, and a dryish finish that close the book on close to perfect.A touch of mint in the scent rounds that off very nice as well. Nice!9/3/9/4/18=4.3Sorry to say the beer is not very even between the times I’ve tasted itRerateBottled on March 2, 2017. Part of a blind tasting.Clear copper color, white head. Bottle at 3 Små Rum, Gothenburg. Pours a clear, almost black body under a small, beige head. Coffeeish and roasted aroma with some fruity hops and a little licorice. A quite pleasant aroma, but maybe a bit on the roasted side. The flavor follows the same path, with coffee and roasted malt and a little licorice. Dry in the mouth, and with a long coffee-bitter and roasted finish. The beer is quite nice, but a bit one-dimentional. I respect the brewers wish to focus on the malts, keeping the hops at a low level, but I like my porters more fruity and hoppy. (080709)

On tap at 3 Små Rum, Gothenburg. Pours an unclear, golden body under a small white head. Malty background in the aroma, with a nice hoppyness giving floral notes and pinecones. Malty and a bit grainy in the mouth, full bodied, with pinecones, pineapple notes and a decent bitterness. Pineapples and bitterness in the finish. Far from being an extreme IPA, it’s actually a bit anonymous, but it has great drinkability and quenching qualities. (080709)

On tap at Bishops Arms Järntorget, Gothenburg. A clear-looking black beer with a small, dark tan head leaving some pretty lacings. Sugary nose with licorice and some alcohol, as well as burnt malt and some dried fruits. Sugary sweet flavor with some smoke and licorice, burnt malt and dried fruits. Touch of alcohol too. Oily mouthfeel, yet it feels a bit thin. Lasting, sweet finish with burnt malt, coffee and some licorice. Sure a nice porter, but a bit on the sweet side I think, and it lacks a bit on the body.
