On draught at Beer O’Clock, Annecy. Lemon peel, coriander, a bit of meringue. Taste is a bit too sweet, somewhat sickly if truth be told. Body is too thin. Not bad all in all but too many flaws to be a good witbier.

Big beige head doesn’t last. Clear brown body with strong carbonation. Spicy fruity lavender aroma with wooden nutty notes. Sweetish mealy fruity lavender taste with caramelly notes. Mid-to-light body. Swetish fruity nutty lavender aftertaste with herbal spicy notes. It’s quite nice, but perhaps a bit heavy on the lavender. (0.75l bottle, from Systembolaget Karlstad.)

Bottle picked up in France by Jude (Loz’s sister) consumed at home Saturday 1st August 2015 Sweet caramel on the nose, reddy amber in colour with a large foamy off white head. Sweet and malty and a little chewy it’s fine but a tad safe. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Aspecto de wit, blanquecina amarillenta turbia. Muy poca espuma que queda pronto en nada. Aroma ligeramente cítrico y algo jabonoso. Carbonatación muy alta. Limón en el sabor, algo de clavo. Suave al paladar, excepto por el gas, y en conjunto se bebe bien, aunque es algo artificial. Lo mejor la botella.

Dorada brillantes, limpia, dos dedos de espuma blanca. Aroma dulce y ligeramente cítrico. En boca, rica textura. Equilibrada más lupulada que malteada aunque todo está. Miel. Limón. Toque especiado, especialmente al final donde sale un interesante amargor. Está rica.

Flaska från SB. Påskens sista bira. Kryddig doft med inslag av apelsinskal. Lite väl hög sötma där apelsinsyra kämpar för att skapa balans.

Clear 33cl rip-top bottle:BBD 3 Jan 16.Shared on 28 April 15 at the Shrewsbury Bottle Swap meeting: cheers Mat for bringing this and not having any yourself, so split between 4 of us. Lime green with a white topping that soon dissipated. Herbal, fizzy lime cordial, the colour dictating my nose and taste senses so I couldn’t get passed the limeness of the beer. Interesting, but really my thing.

330 ml bottle. Unclear yellow body with a thin white head. Light aroma with orange, yeast and coriander. Flavor is light, oranges, yeast, coriander and low bitterness. Quite thin and watery body and not much aftertaste. All the wit elements are there, but it’s not working for me. Plain, uninspired and boring.

Blank glassflaske 330ml fra Kjeller 5. Drukket i Skibotn 28 Mar 15. Gyldenbrun med litt skum som detter pladask. Svakt uklar. Kullsyrebrusing fra bunnen. Søt bæraroma. Smaken - og etterhvert utseende - minner om tynn brus. Kunstig fruktsmak. Rart fiolett bunnfall.
