Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is berryish and flowery, with some mint and caramel. Mint, flowers, caramel, and a buttery touch in the flavor. Flowery finish. Thin on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Not very pleasant this one, not at all. Drinkable, but I’d rather not. 141213

Bottle from Brune Rousse Houblon, Nice. Amber-brown with no head. Fairly complex with a mainly malt and grain character but there’s fruit in the nose and taste too. It’s a pretty good ale though.
