Draught Virtually no head but white rim; fully hazy straw-yellow. Coriander explosion with the inevitable citrus connotation. Way too oppressive. Taste again very sweet and coriander determined. Very uni-dimensional. Wheat slickness, smooth. Very unsatisfying, near caricatural wit.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a hazy golden with lots of impurities and a small, white head. Rather perfumy nose with some yeast also. Medium body, lightly sulphurous with distinct notes of coriander. Ends rather sweet without any traces of hops. For once a decent Mont Blanc beer. Thanks to fiulijn for this. 200406

A yellow beer with a huge white head. Both the aroma and flavor are spicy and yeasty. Quite good for a French beer, but better examples have been sampled from Belgium.

A hazy light yellow beer with a very white head. The aroma is sweet and very whety, but also with strong notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet with artificial notes of wheat and citrus, leading to a dry end. I’m not that fond of the artificial impression I get.

A hazy light yellow beer with a rim of off-white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of violets. The flavor is slightly artificial with notes of violet candy. The flavor is more for children or maybe people that don’t like beer, since it is not very beery. Poor, but not the worst from Mont-Blanc.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours pilsener golden with a slight haze and floating impurities. Clinically white head. Aroma of yeast and coriander. Light, fresh and sweetish body with some citrus. Somewhat watery and artificial. 160206

(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy pilsener golden with a small, off-white head. Extremely perfumy aroma of violrts. Light body with and extremely cloying sweetness and horrible perfumy and soapy accents that take just about forever to get rid of. Goddammit, even when I woke up the next morning I still had violets on my palate. Disgusting. 160206

Light blond color. Unsignificant aroma. Dry and weak mouthfeel, some ending bitterness. Very boring.

Very light blond color, pink hue. Delicate candies and floreal aroma. Very light beer, with some sweetness, light fruitness and perfumy. Quite elegant ladies’ drink.

Light blond color, hazy. Light spicy aroma. The taste is light, spicy, a bit sweet, weak. Another common wheat beer…
