Between 1911 and 1966 Bière du Mont-Blanc was brewed in Saverne. In 1999 a determined and passionate Savoyard, Sylvain Chiron, revived “Bière du Mont-Blanc."

Bottle 0,33ltr: Peach coloured clear brew with an floral and sweety taste. An good Corona-like beer with flowers and fruits but this one is from the French Alps.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Deep red colored brew with an mostly sweet dry taste with some sour, slightly sour. Hints of blueberry, a lot of that fruit and its not bad.

330ml bottle in a French owned Cheese and Wine Deli opposite Dickie Wirtin in Berlin on 2nd October 2024. Red hue to the clear body, beige crust. Semi-sweet malty front, light hop bitterness and easy to drink.

75cl bottle. Clear gold pour, large white head. Moderate hoppiness, good malt presence, gently sweet but coming across a bit dull if I'm honest. Ok IPA.

0,33 flaske fra Amathus Muswell Hill, hjemme mens jeg renskriver referatet fra høstmøtet i Jæren Fråholdslag: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Floral duft og smak med assosiasjoner til skog, mild citrus og akasiehonning. Mild bitterhet og deilig lang ettersmak.

In der handlichen 0,75er Flasche. Optisch klares Gold im Glas, zügige Perlung, fluffiger Schaum. In der Nase Getreide, etwas plädderich. Im Trunk wieder Getreide, Reis, süß. Kein klassisches Blondes, Wie man es zum Beispiel aus Belgien erwarten würde. Gerade noch erträglich.

Flesje meegebracht van vakantie en thuis gedronken. Bleekgeel bier met een dun laagje wit schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. Aroma is hoppig en moutig. De smaak is hoppig, fruitig en iets zeepachtig. Smaak is eerst hoppig maar ebt snel weg.
