Bottle. Clear amber body with a small tan head. Aroma has malt, grain, some caramel and a faint hint of herbals. Flavor is medium sweet malt, biscuit, grain, some herbs and low bitterness. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste. Kind of interesting, but it didn't really catch my interes. Was expecting more from the herbal part.

Bottle from Gulating. Slightly unclear golden with a medium sized white head. Aroma has pilsner malt, hint of grass and a herbal touch. Flavor is light, smooth malt, soft grassy bitterness and a herbal touch. Quite light and straight forward, a bit on the sweeter side beer, cannot say to recognize the meadowsweet here. There might be something ‘’sweet flower’’ herbal but I don’t find the vanilla type of aroma I associate with this herb. Nothing wrong, a sweet and decent beer, but expecting something more distinct from the herbal flavor makes this a bit dull.

Bottle. It pours an almost clear body, amber in color and with a small offwhite head. Malty, bready aroma with a very pleasant herb note. Damp forest and a touch of very lightly roasted malts. It's medium bodied, soft and smooth on the palate, with a very light herbal bitterness. Bread, caramel, some roasted malts and a light touch of herbs. Peppery notes too. Lasting finish with a nice herbal, peppery touch. Interesting. 190817

500ml bottle, batch 0133, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Stable fawn-coloured head to a deep rosewood coloured body. Dotted spots on the glass. Spiced caramel malt on the nose, promising. Mixed taste of caramel, cinnamon, and distant dark fruits. Ends with a decent mid-sweet malty touch. Fits the season. Pretty nice. (Shared wit djoeye and Finn at a rating session in Tromsø 24.01.2019).
