Bottle shared with JFE and JMD at Bjørnøy 11.04.21. Unclear pale straw colour. White head. Aroma and taste of wheat beer.

Bottle. It's a clear deep reddish brown beer with a decent light beige head leaving some cute lacing. The aroma is bready and spiced, with a distinct caramel maltyness. Some dried fruits too. It's medium bodied and softly carbonated, not too sweet, with very little bitterness. There's dried fruits, bread crust, dried ginger and cardamom, caramel and some toffee in the flavor. Some light fruity sourness shows up in the very end. A quite tasteful and pleasant beer, even though it's well past BB date (200112), or maybe that's the key. 210326

0,5 litre Bottle from Gulating Byhaven, Trondheim. Amber with offwhite head. Malts, hops, sour, herbs.

Christmas seasonal. 500 ml bottle, from Det Gode brygg, Sandnes. ABV is 4.7%. Chestnut to mahogany colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, brittle, brown bread and Christmas spices. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, but is not too sweet. Very moderate hops. Pleasant to drink.

Moderate but nice aroma of moderately roast malts, black rye bread, liquorice and chocolate. Light bodied. Slightly dry flavour, with the same elements as the aroma.

Shared bottle at bryne tasting, as Frøya Jedinorog Imperial Stout. ABV is 12%. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma of roast malts, molasses, dark syrup. Smooth flavour, roasty, chocolate, caramel.

Bottle at home. Pours clear dark copper with little beige head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, red wine, bourbon. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied. Nice and well balanced.

Etter vellykket flasking av min Julepale Sabro er det tid for å sprette luke 18 i min private julekalender, en 0,33 boks fra Santa's Helpdesk i Straensenteret. Kledelig utseende i mitt gamle Hadeland juleølglass (m/nisser!) - lett uklart lyst gyllent og med fint skum som varer. Meget friskt citruspreg og hint av aprikosmarmelade, og med a twist of lime i avslutningen.
