Can (born 5/25/22, drink by 7/25/23) pour shared by Steve. It's a virtually opaque dark brown with finger-width beige head with good retention. Aroma is toasted malt--a bit earthy/twiggy--minerals, toffee and a bit of coffee. Taste is earthy roasted malt, toffee, roasted coffee a bit on the charred side. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium, smooth, finish is quite bitter. Overall, aroma shows promise but taste if overly roasted, charred, bitter.

Can from Vinbuðin, Akureyri. Clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty, winegums, yeasty and heavy coriander. Flavor is medium sweet. Sweet finish. The original is a perfectly normal beer. This one is horrible. 150723
