Bottled at Kex Hostel, Reykjavík. Clear pale amber, firm head. Tangerine aroma. Sweetish with light-medium body and clea, rounded mouthfeel. Slightly diluted flavours of tangerine and caramel. Medium bitterness. More caramelly than crisp.

Bottled at Kex Hostel, Reykjavík. Clear mahogany colour, firm head. Deep caramelly nose. Sweet with full body and sfot mouthfeel. Loads of caramel with mikld alcohol warmth and low bitterness. Really malty and highly suitable for Icelandic mid winter conditions.

Bottled at Íslenski barinn, Reykjavík. Hazy pale golden, mid sized head. Concentrated coriander aroma. Sweet with medium body. Dense and mouthfilling. Too sweet to be realy refreshing and with too much coriander.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear copper pour with a fading off white head. Sweet malt nose with some earthy hop. Palate a bit on the thin side. Flavour was largely malt driven, with the hops playing a more supporting role. Some vague herby notes. Clean and drinkable. Restrained bitterness. My first Icelandic beer and its not bad.

Bottle at home in London. Thanks Scopey! Pours rich brown with a small, beige head. Has a lightly roasty aroma, some toasty multi-grain bread, slight nuts. Medium sweet, some cocoa, light earth, dark bread. Medium bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Sweet chocolate finish, light dry roast. Very enjoyable brew.

Bottle 330ml.Unclear light to medium yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is light to light moderate malty, moderate yeasty, citrus, lemon, soap, coriander. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderae bitter with a average duration, soapy, lemon, coriander - soapy yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111211]

Bottled. Very deep ruby red coloour, small beige head. Aroma is toasted malts, some marzipan as well as caramelly notes. Flavour is toasted, very smoked wet wooden and quite liquoricelike notes with some ashes.

Bottled. Deep rubyish amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma is fruits, wood, caramel and some quite big mlty sweet notes. Flavour is fruits, caramel, sweet malts and a bit glueish, but very nice doppelbock.
